tug of war

A contest of strength in which two teams tug on opposite ends of a rope, each trying to pull the other across a dividing line.

Also called tug o' war, tug war, or rope pulling.

dumbbell

A weight consisting of a short bar with a metal ball or disk at each end that is lifted for muscular development and exercise.

sport stacking


n.

Formerly known as cup stacking.

An individual and team activity / game played using plastic cups.

Participants of sport stacking stack and unstack cups in pre-determined sequences, competing against the clock or another player. Sequences are usually pyramids of three, six or ten upside-down cups.

wakeboard


n.

A buoyant board (resembling a surfboard) that is used to ride over water while being pulled behind a motorboat.

Wakeboarding is a surface water sport. It was created from a combination of water skiing, snow boarding and surfing techniques.

Before it was called wakeboarding it was called skurfing (ski + surfing).

kneeboard


n.

A short surfboard ridden on the knees while being towed behind a boat.

To ride a short surfboard in a kneeling position.

sports bra


n.

A garment providing support and protection for the breasts, worn especially during athletics or other strenuous activity.
